Specific nutrients, known to provide valuable support for the adrenals and may contribute to restorative features to overstressed adrenals.

Vitamin B5 Pantothenic acid plays an important role in energy production, and a deficiency has been correlated to disruptions in or abnormal neurotransmitter production, resulting in difficulty in dealing with stressful situations. Pantothenic acid is essential in the formation of coenzyme A (CoA), as the initial step in the synthesis of CoA is phosphorlyation of pantothenate. CoA is required in the synthesis of the neurotransmitter, acetycholine, a chemical required for nerve transmission. Accordingly, pantothenic acid is sometimes referred to as the “antistress” vitamin
