There are four Vitamin B12 which are: cyanocobalamin (CNCbl), hydroxocobalamin (OHCbl), adenosylcobalamin (AdoCbl) and methylcobalamin (MeCbl). The latter two are known as ‘active’ forms of vitamin B12. This lozenge provides 3,000 mcg of the active form of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin, which is acknowledged as the most important and relevant co-factor of vitamin B12. It is very well absorbed and readily used in the body which is not the case for vitamin B12 found in foods. Methylcobalamin has been shown to lower elevated levels of homocysteine.
Directions for use
As a food supplement, adults place 1 lozenge daily under tongue 30 seconds before swallowing.
