Optimal EFAs x 120 Softgel Capsules
Optimal EFA Caps supplies a unique blend of the highest quality fish, flaxseed and borage oils, providing a balanced blend of omega-3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids in good ratios for normal healthy membranes correcting insufficiencies of these essential and non-essential fatty acids.
WHY TAKE FATTY ACID SUPPLEMENTS?
The modern diet is mostly devoid of high quality oils from both the omega 6 and omega 3 families. In fact, with the presence of trans-fatty acids in processed foods and oxidised fats either in foods or on the shelves, the need for the essential and non-essential fatty acids increases. Fats have a wide variety of functions within the body but are required by every single cell in the body, because fatty acids comprise approximately 50% of the cell membrane. From the functioning of or nervous system to skin health and cardiovascular health, these fatty acids are a vital component within the body. Furthermore, they have therapeutic potential in a wide variety of conditions such as arthritis.
Eat regular meals containing high biological value proteins and consume whole, fresh foods, and minimise all forms of refined sugar and carbohydrates. Drink plenty of fresh water. Chew food well, and relax when eating. Take some form of exercise daily.
