Whey Protein Isolate x 454g
- Vegetarian product
Whey Protein Isolate contains hydrolysed whey protein of the highest quality and has not undergone harsh processing at high temperatures. Whey Protein Isolate contains the highest biological value of any protein available in the diet: an egg’s BV is 100, whilst Whey Protein Isolate is as high as 147. This makes the product suitable for those who wish to ensure protein adequacy with minimal calories, or for those in rehabilitation.
Whey Protein Isolate supports and improves glutathione levels, thus supporting a range of immune and detoxification functions.
Whey Protein Isolate from Biotics Research Corporation provides all the important benefits of the industry’s highest quality nutritive protein supplement as an easy to mix, pleasant tasting, all natural powder. Although whey protein has the highest biological value rating of all proteins, all whey protein products are not created equal. Most whey proteins are processed using technologies which result in the denaturing of the proteins, thereby reducing important biologically active proteins such as lactoferrin (LF), Immunoglobulin (IgG) and glycomacropeptides (GMP). Whey Protein Isolate from Biotics Research is produced using a natural, ultra-low temperature microfiltration method. The result is a product supplying a full balance of bioactive whey proteins, with an excellent amino acid profile.
Why take additional protein in supplement form?
The potential benefits of Biotics’ Whey Protein Isolate are numerous. There are therapeutic benefits of Whey Protein that exceed those derived from consuming protein foods in the diet. Whey protein is rich in branched chain amino acids (isoleucine, leucine and valine) which support muscle tissue and growth. It is rich in precursors of glutathione (glutamine, glycine and cysteine) which is key for hepatic detoxification. In fact, ingestion of whey protein by chronically ill patients has been studied. Results indicated lower oxidative stress, resulting from increased plasma glutathione (GSH) levels in study participants.
This particular Whey Protein Isolate is also rich in active immunoglobulins that can support immune health. The high BV protein in this product also supports blood glucose balance and adrenal health.
Eat regular meals containing high biological value proteins and consume whole, fresh foods, and minimise all forms of refined sugar and carbohydrates. Drink plenty of fresh water. Chew food well, and relax when eating. Take some form of exercise daily.
